Charlotte NC Ramp Farm

Coincidently I have received both current and past pictures of the Ramp Farm in Charlotte NC. The ramps were on Travis Deese's parents property. In the past there was a vert ramp you can see there in the overview shot below (dimensions TBA) and 32 wide 6 mini and 8 foot with a spine and four foot mini. Thanks Ed Kingsmore for providing the old shots. The current ramp is a 11 ft steel vert ramp with pool coping and needs a little repair. Seems people are still skating her, here are a couple sent in from Chris Price. If you have more send em in.

03//01/05: Check these out! Well it looks like things are over out there. here are some pics from the last session and a article. Out with the old, in with the new. I'll update some park pics when they get some crete in the ground.

10/01/04: Here is an email from Chuck Powell concerning the future of the ramp: Sorry it took a while to get up Chuck.

"I just found out yesterday that the Deese’s who own the land that the Ramp Farm is on, will be selling their property soon. That gives us only 3-12 months left to skate out there, and then we’ll have to move the ramp. Luckily, the frame is in good shape, and the flat bottom is brand new. I’m talking to a local skatepark owner about possibly moving it there. I’ll keep you updated, but let people know that this may be there last chance to skate the ramp farm."

05/24/04:
The ramp out there just got a new flat bottom upgrade. So the ramp is on, and being session ed every weekend.

I have received more Charlotte pics so, this will stand as the Clit page for now. If I get more shots of Toms I'll give the bowl it's own section. For now there are a couple on the bottom. Thanks to Chuck, Talsma, and Chris for the contributions.
