"Lazy Sunday"

October has been killer! I've seen some people from places afar for three weekends in a row. The call came in that the Creature/Indy team were landing in Raliegh and headed our way Sun morn. Pretty stoked to see these guys, mainly Nav and Hewitt skate the bowl we put so much into. No dissapointment there. Dave gets up with me early and we actually scoop up Bart and with Skylar hit the Manteo park by 11 am. Wo. Within minutes Dave is throwing himself down steps and 5050'd the Hubba. Jesse hooks up with us and I will say, without a doubt, the ollie to 5050 on the Hubba was gnar of the day.

We didn't hear from the Creature guys at lunch so we decided to head to Bob's shop, DVO, and skate his catchers mit bathtub thing then get into some pools on the way back to Wanchese.

We made a quick stop on the way there.....

Those guys made it out there around 3. We showed up to a pretty chill session. Nav was blasting backside airs and working the bowl over pretty good. I saw Ponts, Lizard King, Horn, Partanen, and a couple randoms I didn't know getting their licks in. Hewitt warmed up with a few rocks and then proceeded to get to work. Lipslide the Oververt, that says enough..... Locals Jesse, Marc, Bart, and exspecially Weeks were on fire. Dave was in the zone. Pulling off shit he never done. Lien Disaster Oververt, Boneless tail Oververt, etc..... Great day out there.

We took them to Jesse's no Bowl afterwards and went out and got some food. They called it a night and hit the road Mon morn. We had a super lazy day. Never stressing to get to the next spot and getting 6 spots all together. If we skated your spot, we owe you a beer and a thank you. See you this weekend.
