Best Damn Cornhole in Town
Alright, So Cornhole is some game bars with outside areas have used to attract groups of adults drinking beer and throwing bean type bags full of corn into a box with a little hole in it. Much like horseshoes it's midly entertaining at best. After looking at these boxes that were made by some Colington local up the road for sale, I thought they kinda resembled kickers. So the kids def wanted the game, I made a couple with a removable hole cover. If you extend the first layer a little they are perfect for skating. I could not resist the urge to make a fun box while I was at it. I have a solid stainless piece of coping I scored from the boat yard that is heavy as hell and some angle iron with some handles mounted and you have a pretty sick jank street set up. After the first session it was yet to be determined which was more fun, the wedge ramps that can be put into many positions, or the box that can sit on the wedge ramps, or between them, the possibilities are endless.....
Here is a link to the official American Cornhole Association, plenty of info for this latest craze in backyard shenanigins.... below are the pics to make it a little bit radder... o yeah, the cost was $26 for paint and angle iron. Dunpster Diving rules...
Cleaning the wood while the lengths gets cut.

Cut all the lengths in like 20 min.

Took about 45 min to this point.

About an hour into the project, some ollie on, back 180 off....

Back from the Depot for some cosmetics.

You have to take the piece of solid stainless coping off to move the box, it sits in a little groove that keeps the box from moving anywhere.

I'll get some more photos hopefully with my new camera wed after the final layer and the hole is cut.
Thanks, get your built to shred on cornhole style....
