Oct in NC means one thing, skate season. Yeah, we skate all year. There's plenty of contest and demos thru out the spring and summer to keep everyone stoked and onboard. But nothing beats Cooler weather, Backyards, BBQ's, Tents, Skate Bowls, and skating with your friends. Get in the car, roll out of town, and keep your expectations on the down low. Sept 28 was one such weekend. We found ourselves headed to Pittsborro NC headed to the 4th annual Chatham County Showdown. Hosted by Tony and family, Frank, and the rest of the Pborro crew. started in Rocky Mount... You can't leave Rocky Mnt with out hitting the

hope the neighbors didn't mind the midnight serenade... Ditch break on the way to Pborro... Jesse on the jank. This ditch had some features,
before you go getting all excited, bring your Rat Bones 90a's.... James got a few gnar rollins, a frnt flip, and
this nose pick.... Yup, a little bit of skating was done.... Jesse on a crudely designed tombstone... This is Tamara's little guy Sage, forgot the girl's
name whom is holding him, but she ripped the bowl and later sang
like Pat Benatar. Brad from Wilmington was one of the few to make
the super jump.He ended up with the best trick 60 dollar pot.
He was stoked! One of the many campsites. George made the trip with Dave Maxwell from the
OBX Mark Gee slid in with this Crail.... Scott with some good smith form... Nothing will stop Dave, not even his shoe flying
into the pond... Chelsea trying to keep her pant leg out of the
sprocket.... Scott pushing this slob grind... I know his guy as Vakos. Is that right? Nice lift
of the hip. Mnt Dew and Oysters, what an xtreme time it was..... After the Sun morn evacuation assembly... Ben Hazard jumps for joy over the prospect of eating
at an Indian buffet.... can't even tell you how good that was..... James, take us home with a nice melon grabber.... James takes another check off the list.... Look at all that water.... Killer trip!
