March 29th thru April 5

Here's what I did for a week in April. Attended the USAA Nationals in Copper MNT CO. Snowboarded in four events. Halfpipe, Boardercross, Slalom, and Giant Slalom. Boardercross was prob my better event. I got fastest time due to a couple of DQ's in a World Qualifying series and a bronze racing head to head. I walked away with the title of Adaptive World Champion for the World Snowboarding Federation. All in all it was a great week of snowboarding with friends. We got like 19" inches all week and stayed in a killer 10 bedroom house. Below is a press release about the event and a few pics that will be updated when I can get the real copies. Contact me at robnelson at eastcoastaholic.com about any info if you are interested in helping Adaptive Active Sports and myself in my future WSF events. Big Thanks to Amy and Dan and the entire staff at AAS for making all the athletes feel so accommodated.
